It's so weird how nowadays "doing something" is now called the "nuclear option".
It used to be that politicians and bureaucrats made decisions that made a difference about things that mattered and people's lives were affected. We called that governing.
It's a nuclear event, in the sense that the current playing field - of semi net-neutrality games - and the shadow legions of its players would be wiped.
