This is terrible. Searching for Sugar Man is one of the most deeply affecting movies I've seen in recent years—an important story, beautifully told. We have that to keep, but how much more might he have accomplished. I'm sorry for the loss of him, and for the trauma of friends and family agonizing over what they think they missed or might have done. May all the complexities of depression be soon unraveled and made treatable.
Umm I hate to be a detractor, as much as the back story of how important Sugar Man was to South Africans the documentary was a bit of a suck off especially when it focused on the people that new him in Detroit. Just my $.02. doesnt mean the director wont be missed
