I couldn't help but be reminded of this story from Brown University, in which a wealthy girl used her parents money to basically destroy the life of a young man on an allegation that was proven completely bogus: http://brown-spectator.com/2012/05/a-uni…

And of course, neither the University nor any feminazi apologized.

Yes, let's fight rape...but we should also fight destroying innocent people's lives with false allegations and we should also fight for a little thing call DUE PROCESS. No one, man, woman, black, white, Asian, gay or straight should be guilty until proven innocent and no one should be destroyed by an allegation that isn't even proven.

No sexual assault should come with the low-low price of "due process for all and no guilty until proven innocent."

@1: "feminazi"
And that, dear Reader, is how I became all DIDN'T READ LOL

@1 yeah false rape allegations are a worse problem than what this is actually about. Watch out for them mens under a salt amirite

@3
I actually said we should fight rape. I'm sorry you have a reading comprehension problem. However, Brown University (the subject of this article) has a history of treating the accused as criminals before they're even proven of anything. This article was about Brown University and rape. I posted a link to how a false rape allegation at Brown ruined an innocent man's life. I apologize if you lack the intelligence to see the correlation.

@1/@4 I stopped reading once I hit "feminazi" too.

But it does sound like you agree that they handle these issues pretty terrible and that clearing that up seems like an excellent plan for everyone concerned.

It's all fun and games until the Tri Delt accuses a black man of rape with little to no evidence right folks?

@5
And I tend to stop reading any article or comment that uses the term "Paultard" or "Teabagger", as does anyone with a brain.

Link in #1 now goes to porn ad site. Either trolling or spam

@7: When universities start reporting all rapes to the police, your college boys will get all the due process they can handle.

@9
I absolutely 100% agree. These are serious criminal matters that should be handled with criminal courts. If someone is found guilty, punish them to the full extent of the law. And if someone makes a false allegation that is proven to be BS, they too should be punished. We agree.
