Go easy on the sound person—any big artist even remotely concerned with sounding good live has a sound person that travels with them who knows exactly how to dial them in. Unless you're at the Hollywood Bowl on a warm, windless night (and even then...), or standing in exactly the right spot, amplified outdoor music usually just sounds like shit.
