You're the best. Love your "gimme your" photoshoots. So awesome. xoxoxoxo
2
I'm not surprised that Kelly can't tell the difference between Pap Smurf and David the Gnome, but I am a little disappointed.
3
David the Gnome it is!

His hat and shirt though, very Papa-esque, no?

I believe the word you're looking for is Dashiki - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dashiki
5
Is this part of Sasquatch?
6
these just confirm Mrs. Solomon's unalterable decision never to attend Folklife.
7
Saved the best for last, glad your camera was recovered!
8
It did happen! :)

Overhead in the Office: :"The people at Folklife are always more interesting because you don't have to pay anything to get in"
10
So stranger staff did know about the large non-commercial music festival that was running in their own home town all weekend long after all.

@2 Thank you. I was tickled when I saw David the Gnome and his wife, Lisa the Gnome.
@3 Hat maybe, but Papa Smurf doesn't wear a shirt, so, no.
12
Wait, how do you know David the Gnome is pierced??

Or did you just mean the hat?
13
I wish I would have seen the Gnome when I was there. That would have brightened my day.
14
No! I don't know! His hat has ring in it!

Also, this guy is neat. And nice. And seeing him brightened my day too. Just teasing about Smurfy-ness
15
Damn dirty hippies, the lot of 'em. Folklife looks like it smells like wet wool and unwashed socks.

I like the event, and the diversity is nice. Still, I can't see the $1 million it apparently costs to stage. In the couple hours on Monday, I didn't see one performance other than street acts. Perhaps the budget is just for police.
17
Also, David the Gnome's boots-stitched-to-the-knees thing reminds me of the great Tim Conway as Dorf.

@15: To be fair, it was raining all day when I went on Sunday. But it totally did smell like that wherever I went, yes. And by turns, also pot, but that is to be expected.

Please wait...
