If you like hearing "Heart and Soul" banged out with all the finesse of two drunk chickens (one has to do the melody), I'm your man.

I can do the extended mix of John Cage's 4'33"

@1, I can alternate between chords and arpeggios for the accompaniment, but I'd have to wear earplugs so the melody doesn't confuse me :)

@ Christopher: Does Nordy's still have live pianists? Often they have business cards out on the piano.

@3 -- I don't think they do. It's been years since I've seen a pianist at Nordstrom.
5
@3 - hey, that's $25 each. I'm in.

Beginning 6+ years ago, Nordstrom's began eliminating piano music, but it was reported just last year that as many as 30 of the 110+ stores still had live pianists, it being left up to individual store managers.

Nice story on the retired pianist from the Tacoma Mall Nordstrom's, Filipino emigrant and father of ten—

There are persons who play piano at Overlake Hospital who are wonderful. They are screened for their talents and love to donate their talents playing the beautiful grand piano in the lobby of the hospital. Give them a call, I'm sure one of them would be willing to come down and serenade your literary group. When is it? Maybe I could come! I play well, mostly by ear and it's a lot of Elton John and greensleeves and improvisation stuff. I would love to do it.
