"I, uh...ran over the homeless guy. With my bullets. It was unavoidable."
2
Poor kitty!
3
I mean, that's unfortunate, but I have no reason to not believe him. I mean, props on reporting himself, I guess?
4
Catbanger?
7
Is there a point here, Charles?
8
fuck off chuckles
9
How does one drive EASTBOUND on Beacon Ave S when it is a north-south arterial?
10
@5, Deng Xiaoping said it doesn't matter if it's a black cat or a white cat -- if it goes under a car, it's a dead cat.
11
The officer claimed Kitty was about to pull a knife. It was self-defense.
12
If only he hugged it instead of running it over, the outcome might have been different.

Clearly, that cat was jaywalking and bears as much responsibility as the police officer for this unfortunate incident.
14
Do Beacon and 11th even intersect? This police report sounds fishy to me.
15
The SPD didn't canvas the entire city 5 times for tips and information? That's catism!

(no 11th doesn't go through)

Wait til Raku hears about this.
18
I bet he actually meant to say, "I struck my patrol car with a cat."
19
RIP cat. :(

Poor kitty. And poor police officer. Hitting an animal with a car is one of my worst nightmares.

And yes, Beacon is not just a "north/south" arterial. Before that accursed interstate went through, Beacon Avenue started down on Airport Way. Now, it terminates at Holgate Street.

Oh for god's sake, Mudede, the end sentence you included was a standard signing statement of a legal declaration, not something you need to quote to make us deride this officer.

Please wait...
