Well, that was less interesting than everything else about Chuck Berry.

I do not find the Simmons-Dylan collaboration surprising. In fact, it shouldn't be surprising to anyone. Their partnership simply illustrates that rock ’n’ roll has reached its logical conclusion and no longer needs to exist.

When the ancient Greeks wrote, "There is nothing new under the sun," they were probably quoting some dead civilization. The idea that ideas and their expression are a recognizable part of a continuum is thus not particularly new to Chuck Berry.
