@1 Yeah, because that's going to be exactly the same forever, right? Screw all those other stores that will open in the next year as they get ready and the producers get their product onto the market. But, you're totally right. What a genius.

Isn't it also going for upwards of $400/oz??? Why would someone contribute to the system at that mark when you can get it on the streets for $150? I realize this is Seattle and progressive and all that, but it seems a bit illogical if we actually want the city to benefit.

@3 - We have seen with online piracy and the torrenting community that if people genuinely support a concept, they will make the effort to buy it legitimately. I think that pot will be the same - it might be more expensive than from your boyfriend's friend's dealer, but the ability to walk in to a storefront and have a personal budtender (or even just a wide selection) to choose from is very enticing, and there will always be some who prefer it.
