@1 It doesn't mean much since the appellant clearly doesn't have standing. Alito would be questioning the decision of three other courts on that ruling, not on the underlying case.

Even Alito knows she has no standing. This is a clear cut case.

Yeah, I figure it would be something procedural, but who knows, Thomas or Scalia would have figured a way to grant the stay.

Marriages are already happening in PA! This was just the last desperate kooky attempt to stop them. Even the Republican governor was not taking this seriously!

This is consistent with the Oregon decision. The State didn't want to appeal. It has no impact on States that actually are appealing.

Nonetheless, one more down, thirty one to go!

What fellow Yinzer (#5) said! Marriages started immediately, at least after the three-day waiting period between getting a license and when the marriage can take place (which can and was removed in certain circumstances).
