Second, there are a few more recently "retired" officers from SPD who need to be hired too. SPD lost some very good people in that cluster fuck that was Bailey's interim.
This is way better for the region than Pugel heading off to work as a consultant somewhere else. He can help good things happen at KSCO now, especially since Urquhart is willing to show some backbone and fire bad actors.
As someone who lives under the jurisdiction of the KCSO, I'm very glad to hear this. Deputies in certain parts of the county act more like vigilante yahoos with guns rather than professional officers.
