I had to pause the Megan Fox video a few times to let my blood pressure stabilize. I'm trying NOT to rant at the computer screen. Taking a deep breath... All I can think about is that we really need to bring back good, comprehensive public education. The kind that was mandatory in my state when I was growing up. I learned about the origins of eucaryotic life (single-celled and otherwise-->omg, she's not even getting THAT distinction) in the first of THREE biology courses in my (then) very-average high school. Do they not teach biology anymore in public school? Do they even teach science? Or logic? I feel heavy-hearted at our future. Thanks a LOT, Megan!
