Did you people see that DelBene, Larsen, and Kilmer (3 congress Democrats) voted for gutting the Volcker Rule. How are we supposed to hold accountable these Wall Street puppets when the media doesn't do its job. This place has become such a waste of bandwidth since Goldy left.
It's funny because it sounds like they're pointing people to "buy the Kindle edition from Amazon" and no, $15 won't buy it because sales tax on ebooks is a thing.
Remember Ben Carson? You know, the surgeon who's currently vying for the Republican presidential nomination, and who also happens to be the object of collectivism_sucks's burning but unrequited affection? Turns out that despite graduating from Yale (B.S.) and the University of Michican (M.D.) and being an excellent neurosurgeon by all accounts, he couldn't write his latest book without ripping off his sources. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/01/08… http://www.buzzfeed.com/andrewkaczynski/…
Let me drink your delicious tears of impotent rage, c_s.
I actually did a bit of reading about Dr. Carson as part of the research I do before posting something serious, and he seems like a decent guy. Like I mentioned above, he was one hell of a surgeon, has good ideas about end-of-life care, and recognizes that affirmative action programs help a lot of promising but disadvantaged youth achieve their potential. But on the other hand he's taken some truly wacky positions on issues of science (how does a guy who graduates from med school in this era end up rejecting the idea of evolution by natural selection?) and seems to think that socialism is composed of everything wrong in the world. Strange.
