Bring whatever you feel like reading.

Bring whatever you feel like reading and sit and read while waiters bring you things. Or just stare into space. Courtesy of Sorrento Hotel

This is your friendly reminder that that thing where we all meet at the Sorrento Hotel's Fireside Room and read silently together while Paul Matthew Moore plays the piano is tonight.

It's all ages (yes, you can bring your kids, if they're silent) and it's free (as always!). Also, sometimes it's a writing party, for people who have laptops and need to get some writing done. (It will be a writing party for me tonight.) We don't expect any TV cameras to be in the room tonight, like last month; that was pretty nuts. Anyway, if you've never been, you ought to come.

The reading party started here in Seattle and has since been copied in other cities.
