That Port of Seattle meeting we were telling you about? It's packed with hundreds of people upset with Seattle's five port commissioners (Courtney Gregoire, Tom Albro, Bill Bryant, John Creighton, and Stephanie Bowman) over their decision to allow Shell to park its Arctic drilling rigs in Seattle during the off-season.
"I just had to do something," said one of the protesters at the meeting. A sign held by two protesters reads, "We can't burn all the oil on the planet and still live on it."
If you want to follow along in real time, Sydney Brownstone is tweeting from the meeting and @strangerslog is keeping an eye on things, too. More later.
