Its supposed to be HELLA nice tonight, so if you happen to find yourself wandering around Ballard and wanna see a throw-down, I suggest attending this fabulous show. Yeah, four bands (AND all local groups as well)!
It's supposed to be HELLA nice tonight, so if you find yourself wandering around Ballard, I suggest attending this fabulous show. Yeah, four bands (AND all local groups as well)!

First up, the self-described "surf-punk" of tonight's openers (it's also their first show ever) Reptilian Children. Second will be the deliciously monikered, SSNACKSS, who play killer late-'70s, American sounding punk; they're raw and riffy without weighing too heavy on Chuck Berry, and their guitar sound is FLEEK as a mofo! Next up will be the Gods Themselves, a band I wrote about a while back—a killer early ’90s-ish style noise thang. Trainspotters: Word is tGT are debuting new songs and a new band member! Headliners Jupe Jupe are a hard '80s/new romantic group, but without the pleats and big hair. There y'all go—HEAT! Oh, get there early or at least on time (9 pm), the Sunset keeps a tight ship and there's no tail dragging with them live sets.
