First term Obama should have pushed for card-check, he promised to do so when he ran, then dropped the plan.

The Democrats should have moved in the first two years of the Obama Presidency, up to and including changing the filibuster rules if necessary.

(though, remember a filibuster by Democrats was the only thing that stopped Bush from giving the Social Security Trust Fund to Goldman-Sachs 18 months before the crash)

@1: Which is exactly why both parties bitch and moan about filibuster rules, but refuse to do anything about them. Neither party wants to lay down the trump card for good.

Same thing with gerrymandering, both parties do it shamelessly, both parties complain about it, but neither wants to do anything about it, as they want it available to them when they inevitably find themselves back in power.

Parking can be cheap or available. It won't be both.
4
What's parking? Is that some euphemism for "relations" that old people use?
5
Vans? SUVs? Sure. You're not gonna truck your bicycles around in a goddamned smartcar, are ya?
6
@#4: What your Uber driver needs to do when she or he pick you up, also what the delivery truck needs to do when the provide food at your supermarket

drone attack? i thought the drone crashed into a building and fell on someone. i guess all those times birds flew into my grandparent's window were bird attacks on the sidewalk.
8
There's a reason why everything else that flies has serial numbers linked to the owners and manufacturers. But noooooooo drones are special little snowflakes and they won't hurt anybody ever.

Just wait until one of the larger ones gets sucked into a jet engine.
10
@7 but "Amateur photographer accidentally crashes his RC helicopter into building, hits woman" is hardly a headline at all. It hardly suggests the war on terror or any kind of vague conspiracy really so it just won't do.

Drone attack?? Slog has nothing on Buzzfeed when it comes to click bait.

Car size? Tell me about it. Compare a 2002 Subaru Outback to the 2015. Or look at a 1996 VW Jetta with the 2015. Part of the problem is car manufacturers are building once smaller cars to be bigger.

Did slog give any coverage to the dui driver who killed a bicyclist at 65th and 15th?

Please wait...
