If you haven't read up on Mary Anne Carter yet, go ahead and do that and then get back here. Aside from making amazing, genre-busting broadsides, she also runs, along with the poet Sarah Galvin, Fashion Hot Dog 225, a "creative space, art movement, and lifestyle" that posts up in the Dover apartments downtown.

Tonight the duo will show butt-themed work by several local artists, including Derek Erdman, Stranger Genius Webster Crowell, Shannon Perry, and Jennifer Zwick, among others.

Carter says there will be butt glamour shots, a butt confessional (a tapestry-draped alcove where you can scan your ass and put the image on the wall), and performances by Sarah Galvin, Nick and Scott Robins, and Amy Traut.
