With Hillary you get Bill. So why aren't liberals salivating for Bill's economics to resurrect the golden '90's in a Mrs. Bill administration?

People who are worried about Hillary's ties to banks are just silly. Remember when Obama was elected and the first thing he did was prosecute the financial institutions for their illegal manipulation of the economy? That was epic. I shows that any Democrat is going to fight for all Americans, not just the rich ones.

They were hired and rose to prominence in highly competitive companies presumably because they were smart, super-qualified people with a deep understanding of the way money works.

No. They were born into families with munnie and connections that they used to get into elite schools and top jobs. It works the same in any kleptocracy.

Progressives often criticize Hillary Clinton for her cozy relationship with Wall Street. Their evidence: her top donors.

Actually, her top donors are only part of the evidence. Clinton's failure to support E. Warren's bill to break up commercial from investment banks sends a clear message about her lack of intent to rein in Wall Street.

@3 I KNOW!!! It was wonderful watching Jamie Diamond crying as he was hauled away in changes out of congress!! I hope he didn't end up becoming someone's bitch in prison. It was almost heart breaking as he cried out for mercy fearing that would happen to him.

Anybody who's read Matt Taibbi over the past few years knows how the kleptocracy works. They run things, and it matters little whom the figurehead nominal head of state may be.

Exhibit A to me is Eric Holder's "Justice" Dept. He came in from Covington & Burling, the DC white-shoe law firm - representing Goldman Sachs, et al., and brought in his buddies there as lieutenants. OF COURSE he put Dimon, Blankfein, and the other tera-criminals behind bars. And now he reentered 'the private sector' by returning to the same damn C&B office on Pennsylvania Avenue (they kept it vacant and clean, they KNEW he never really left).

I ain't voting for the wifey of an ex-boyfriend of Monica Lewinsky's!

Hey, Rich. You sound as if you just fell off a pumpkin truck,

It's really not that complicated. Follow the money. For example, Hillary has refused to take a stand on the Trans Canada Pipeline. Have you heard about some of the conflicts of interest in Hillary's state depart and Trans Canada? Google is your friend.

@7, I don't give a damn where Holder worked before or where he works now. His Justice Department did more actual justice work during his administration than all the other AG departments put together.

Oy vey - if only you'd provided more accurate information. Are you an intern? Ugh. http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/…
