At first I thought it was an art project or a confusing prank—what could you put in a green binder that would be worth that much cash? "Pokemon cards?" a friend said in the park on Sunday.

I have since corresponded with the posterer and confirmed that (1) it is a real email address, and (2) the binder is not full of Pokemon cards. It contains personal writing and it would mean a lot to the person who put up the posters to get it back. So much that he's willing to pay you $100 for returning it. And you'd get to be a good person in the process. How many chances do you get to receive $100 for being a good person? That never happens.

To recap: If you stole a backpack last week and it had a binder in it and you're reading these words, give it back, k?
