It's Thursday, October 1, which not only means that you can now officially drink pumpkin beer without feeling bad about it, but also that many of Seattle's art galleries are open late and are opening new exhibits today, which you can see for free! To make it easy for you to enjoy First Thursday, we've compiled all of these openings into one place on our art calendar.

If you need suggestions, Jen Graves recommends Jonathan Wakuda Fischer and Louie Gong: Rebels of the Floating World (ArtXchange), Matthew Whitney: A Line Amongst Other Lines (4Culture), and Clyde Petersen (Martyr Sauce).

Plus, admission to the Seattle Art Museum is free today, and their new exhibition Intimate Impressionism From the National Gallery of Art is opening today (this isn't included in the free ticket, but admission is discounted).

If you want to see even more art, check out our complete Things To Do calendar.
