It's the first Wednesday of the month, which means the reading party is tonight!! You can't see it in that photo above, but there's a fireplace in the Fireside Room at the Sorrento, and couches and wingback chairs and tables, and waiters to bring you things while you sit there reading. (Tonight I'm bringing a biography of Dorothy Parker called What Fresh Hell Is This? by Marion Meade. And you?)

Paul Matthew Moore will be on piano from 6 pm to 8 pm. If you haven't heard Paul yet, you're really missing out. The happiness he creates is palpable.
