You saw our 2015 Regrets Issue, right? It came out over the holiday break. If you unplugged for two weeks in some snowbound winter wonderland, well, welcome back to civilization, and read it.

I only just remembered we got the above piece of mail in July, seven months after our previous regrets issue—the 2014 Regrets Issue—was published, correcting one of Savage's corrections. Even in the age of social media and the proliferation of instant publishing, people get real high and mighty about correcting other people's typos, and this person clearly, confidently felt satisfied in correcting our correction about Savage "making it's acquaintance." Classic "its"/"it's" mistake, this person assumed.

But this person is what we call wrong. As any extremely dedicated reader of The Stranger would know, Savage was referring to this whole debacle.

That said, we did have at least two actual, certifiable typos in the 2015 Regrets Issue—the spelling of someone's name, the word "again" appearing where an "against" should have been—but they've been fixed online. Phew.
