The Seattle Police Department's homicide unit has made two arrests almost exactly one month after widely adored teacher Brent McDonald was shot in Belltown.

From the SPD:

Detectives arrested a 55-year-old man and a 38-year-old female today at 3 Ave and Virginia St. The two are currently being interviewed by Homicide Detectives and will be booked into King County Jail afterwords [sic]. The woman will be booked on rendering criminal assistance and the man will be booked on investigation of murder.

McDonald's family is holding a memorial at the Langston Hughes Performing Arts Institute tomorrow.
