I like "metamore" as a word for my boyfriend/lover/partner's other girlfriend/lover/partner. Of course, that only works for describing things to other people in on the lingo, but one has to use more words when explaining polyamory to people not in the know anyway.

Completely agreed on all points. Blogging doesn't hold the same appeal as it used to, when actual advocacy and work in the community makes immediate difference. Great column.
