It's a wonderful thing to be told you can't have a job because you're not excited enough for it. The phone interview was fine, I can do the job, I'm willing to do it, and the wage is okay. But the voice on the phone said that it would just be a waste of time for everyone if I didn't actually enjoy data entry. I'm not looking to love my job, I'm not looking to find that Perfect Match of All Employment, and I want to work. And now that I'm being pragmatic about this sort of thing, apparently that's no longer good? And just "playacting" at enjoying data entry would be a waste of time? Well, the good news is I still have plenty of time. The energy and hope I had before that call, on the other hand, well...
