Tell the NBA to Go Fuck Itself—in Style!

Comments

1
The NBA made the right decision: thank god we won't be saddled with their presence in the city any time soon. That being said, the NBA and the fans of NBA basketball can go fuck themselves.
2
Funny about this. I've always wanted to tell the NBA to go fuck itself. But the Stranger only came around to it when they didn't get what they wanted. I think we call that a "tantrum." NBA, you dodged a bullet, and so did we.

Where's the shirt telling everyone who wanted to bring a NBA team back to Seattle to fuck *themselves*?
4
Holy Crap...that shirt is awesome! Really.
5
Can we please drop this? It's really getting infantile. This shirt is proof of that.

Seattle has more serious issues to deal with than not getting another mediocre basketball team.

6
I wonder if Mayor McGimmick will buy one?

@ 5, Purrl: if you always focus only on the "more important issues," why were you reading Stranger.com? You should be in Syria fighting the civil war, in Africa stopping the famine, or in North Pole helping the polar bears survive.

If your mind can't multitask and deal with the profound and the inane around you all at once, the sum of all of which equals "LIFE," your mind is too small. And don't hold it against others whose minds can effing multitask.

@7: man, that's probably the best comment I've ever read on this website.

Seattle, you got just what you deserved! Why would you treat this situation the same way the Sonics were treated when they were stolen, or should I say given away... You little spoiled rich kids can't buy everything, sporting teams are more than just something to own, they are like the fabric of a community. Get your own team and stop trying to steal someone else's. You didn't like it when your team was pulled out from under you, why would you think it is ok to try the same underhanded crap that happened to Seattle?
10
...but really, where can i buy the shirt? i want one. two, actually.

I prefer the F Stern tee shirt. He manipulated both the 2008 and 2013 process. But I have no doubt that we will have the NBA back in Seattle within the next 2-3 years. And for those of you who don't want them back go support your city some other way- however you like: go ride on the new Seattle Wheel, watch the Hawks play, go to a movie, support a local non profit, volunteer in some effort to benefit the world in some way that matters .... Or continue to sit in your little room and condemn everyone else and oppose every positive effort of your fellow citizens. All of us supporting this effort to bring back the NBA were disappointed. But I applaud Hansen and Balmer's efforts, I look forward to the NBA returning under a new commissioner.

Oh those would look great on a Seattle team at Hoopfest (Spokane) this year...

@9

Where did the Kings originate? It wasn't Sacramento. They started as the Rochester Royals. They then moved to Cincinnati. After that they were the Kansas City/Omaha Kings then strictly the Kansas City Kings before Suckramento stole them.

So take your sanctimonious crap and stick up the same place your brain resides aka your ass.

First world problems!

Please wait...
