White Truffle Dinner

Le Gourmand (map) Ballard
Tue., Nov. 13 2012

nomad.dinners tells us, “November’s nomad event highlights the infamous white truffle.” Infamous indeed. Stanley Ho, the Macanese casino magnate, paid upwards of $300,000 at auction for the world’s largest white truffle. When a larger one was found, he did it again. This nomad.dinner features the cuisine of Alba (where white truffles abound) paired with wines from the Piemonte and Dylan Giordan, chef of bin on the lake, is the guest chef. nomad.dinners are monthly “underground dinners and experiences,” brought to you by Jody Haynes (front-of-house manager at Terra Plata) and Tomer Shneor (former chef of Branzino and Cantinetta Bellevue). Reservations are required.
