I loved last year's "gloom-banishing" art light festival, Onn/Of. I wrote about its bigness—decking out an 11,000-square-foot former sweater factory in Ballard—but its simple modesty, too, coming out of nowhere like a pair of headlights in the night. This year, it's in a different location, an empty BMW dealership on Pine Street in Capitol Hill, but the simple premise and the organizers are the same. A mess of local artists present works (videos, sculptures, shadow plays, performances, music, beer garden) to warm you and light up your eyes. This year's lineup includes Tivon Rice, Britta Johnson, Anthony Sonnenberg, Nicholas Nyland, NKO, and more.
