Third Thursday Open Galleries Kick-Off

Seattle Design Center (map) Georgetown
Thu., Jan. 17 2013

Inside the design center tonight: new work at Seward Park Clay Studio and EAFA Gallery; wine and an art discussion at Salon Anon Anon (along with the closing of Jave Yoshimoto's 30-foot scroll); the release of Joe Reno's book, with the artist there to sign; and the Community Artist Program kickoff at Meyer Wells. If you haven't been to the design center, you should go. It's an odd and fascinating venue for art, a place where interior decorators once shopped for luxury goods—during a stronger economy. Be sure not to miss the continuation of CoCA's annual juried show.
