Lorraine Barlow knitted a shroud that her husband, Howard, will be buried in. The shroud, with a cast of Howard’s body in it, is lying on the gallery floor. It has a stripe of x’s and o’s knitted down its length. On the wall above it is Howard’s grid of red bullet casings, each one with a piece of her wedding dress and a handwritten memory of her stuffed inside. When she dies, she gets a 21-gun salute. The two 30ish artists are in the prime of their lives. For now. (Punch Gallery, 119 Prefontaine Pl S, punchgallery.org, noon–5 pm, free, through March 30)
