Unstoppable

INCA (map) Queen Anne
Wednesdays-Saturdays. Continues through Jan. 22 2016

Inspired by a question posed by Black Lives Matter cofounder Patrisse Cullors, this four-artist exhibition provides specific instructions for how to make DIY bulletproof clothing—and how to consider constructing direct action. With work by a star list of artists/activists (micha cárdenas, Cullors, Edxie Betts, and Chris Head) and curated by Alejandra Salinas and Aeron Bergman of INCA, Unstoppable promises a bright, thoughtful, and layered mesh of art, politics, and self-aware practicality. Definitely don't miss the opening reception, which will feature a conversation with cárdenas, Betts, Kiyomi Fujikawa, C. Davida Ingram, and Nikkita Oliver. JEN GRAVES AND JULIA RABAN
