Let's Make Puppets!

Hale's Palladium (map) Fremont
Mon., March 20, 7:30 p.m. 2017

They say: "A sock making puppet workshop with fun color fuzzy socks and a great variety of items to make the sock puppet of your dreams. Professional puppet maker standing by to help you make the most amazing sock puppet ever! This workshop is always great fun for adults and children alike though warm glue guns are used in the making of these puppets. Annett Mateo believes anything can be a puppet! She has made all kinds of puppets out of all kinds of materials for people, projects and theatres both locally and nationally. In her career as a professional puppet designer and builder she has built marionettes, Muppet type puppets, rod puppets, large body/costume style, modified Banraku, shadow and pretty much every other kind of puppet. She has attended the O'Neill Theatre conference for Puppetry a number of years and is in her fifteenth season as a puppet designer and builder for Seattle Children's Theatre. She has done custom requests, puppets for parades, theatre performances for adults and is a regular participant of regional puppet slams. You can view her puppets on
