"Embark on a journey to a fresh and fascinating world of dragons with A School for Dragons and author Amy Wolf. When Mattie Sharpe was 10 years old, she found a dragon egg in LA's Griffith Park. She named the dragon Toutles, but when he became too big to hide, her mother ordered her to take it to the zoo. Instead, she released him into the park. That was seven years ago. Now, Mattie is 17, bored, and getting into trouble. She gets into even more when she's whisked to Cavernis, a world teeming with dragons. But these are dragons as you've never seen them: they are fussy gourmets, lawyers, CPAs, and students who take classes like TNS ('Tails, Nails & Scales'). Reuniting with her childhood friend, Mattie learns about sword fighting, jousting, and a prophecy she's meant to fulfill." (Promo Copy)
