Chefs Without Borders, Tasting Isfahan

Join Tom Douglas for a bilateral event featuring two dinners on opposite sides of the world. No, really. In tandem with the Seattle Isfahan Sister City Association (SISCA), Douglas will prepare a traditional, four-course Iranian meal that pays homage to Isfahan, a sister city of ours located in central Iran. Meanwhile, the same thing will unfold overseas, only with a Pacific Northwest-inspired menu created by Douglas and executed by chefs in Isfahan.

The Seattle event will also include a classical guitar collaboration between the two cities. The menu and recipes for the Seattle dinner were developed by popular Iranian-American cookbook author Najmieh Batmanglij.
