Seattle Komedy Dokumentary

Comments

I disagree. It peaked 3 years ago. Everything else is true.

Good review, Lindy. I think you're pretty much spot on, although I'd also agree with commenter #1 that the local scene documented in this film probably "peaked" 3 years ago.

Of course, there have been other peaks...other waves undocumented in this film. And there will be more highlights to come, as there are some new performers on the way up who will continue to grow, improve and inspire.

Boom, Bust and Rediscovery. It is the way of stand-up comedy.

(Funny, I don't feel a million years old.)

i was talking about the seattle mariners, but the analogy works.
4
Dan Carroll was indeed breightbarted. Too good a quote to pass up using out of context though.
5
What about the part where my doctor tells me I could suffer full renal-failure if I continue my 30 day stunt diet of nothing but McDonalds for the sake of the film? A glaring omission, Ms. West...a very glaring omission.
6
Derek, the movie has been made you can stop stunt dieting now.

Please wait...
