I think you're totally off the mark on this one, Paul. I went to this with my wife last night, and we had a great time. If I had any issue with the movie, it was for the really sappy and pat ending, but the audience can see it coming a mile away, so it didn't feel like an insult, just a foregone conclusion.

While I don't think you are off the mark, this one I would recommend for matinee pricing, not pay 'full price' for, and will not suffer much viewed on the home 'big' screen.
Well shot, decent settings and acting by most, but... nothing more than a screwball comedy that is a tad more believable than average.
Then again, it is February, and it was funny enough, in enough places.
Also, I bet they had a lot of fun making this, and it shows.
