I rarely say something as cheesy as this....I feel blessed by the Burning Beast.
2
Well written Bethany. Every year Burning Beast gets better and better and you have a way of summing it all up nicely.
3
Were the photos in the slide show shot with a polaroid?
4
Slideshow photos were shot with an iPhone app called Hipstamatic.
6
Those photos were terrible. You get what you pay for with Chris Furniss

"I always wanted to go to Burning Man but I..." is the pathetic cry of every wannabe who keeps trying to market their "new thing" to hip people who really know where it's at, man.

For the simple fact that Smoke Farm had the opportunity to work with the local Burner community to actually HOST a Burner event and chose to pass it up once it was mentioned the work and planning that goes into creating a Leave No Trace event, not to mention the staging conditions necessary for a non-staged creative art zone, once again, Murphy's ripping off something she has no right to.

Whatever Murphy wants to pretend this is, a paid dinner party is NOT an exercise in community on the same level as Burning Man is. It's something else entirely, and I wish she'd simply STFU about how Burner it is.

Frankly, I'm shocked the Burning Man LLC hasn't issued a cease-and-desist on her ass for being an idiot.

Please wait...
