I once ate at a similarly inspired Filipino restaurant in Los Angeles a few years ago. The friends I was visiting warned me that the staff were allowed to perform any way they chose: The night we went, one of them was Elvis all night long. Hilarious, and made the meal so much more memorable!
Interesting how people would easily welcome themselves to make criticism without at least spell or fact checking. Filipino foods are actually influenced by the world. From Japan, China, Vietnam, Korea, Spain and other parts of Europe and not to mention the other islands that are within the proximity of the Philippines divinely create the wonderful delectable dishes the culture possess. Because of the US invasion, it too has influenced the Philippine Cuisine. Filipinos, the mutts of the world!!!
I really am looking forward to eating at Inay's and getting to see and listen to Ernie belt his way through the enormous crowd giving him a standing ovation. You Go Ernie and keep up the great work we will all see you soon.
And the writing about the hilarity of Atasha's performance had me laughing out loud in public. Wonderful.
Makes me proud to be a Seattalite. I'm definitely going to check this place out!
