If you think Ice Cube saying “SUCK MY DICK,” is the funniest thing you’ve heard all day, 21 Jump Street is your kind of movie. If you know the premise of the 21 Jump Street franchise (young-looking cops go undercover in high schools to foil crimes), you know enough. Also, it has almost nothing to do with the characters from the original (and thus, the answer to my question “WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO RICHARD GREICO?” went unanswered). Still, even complain-y, don’t-think-anything-is-funny-right-now-except Louis C.K. old me got a few light chuckles out of the thing. Plot turns are about as inventive as you got from the old television show (read: not very inventive), and there is some horrible CGI. The end. (GRANT BRISSEY)
