Focusing on enterprise and healthcare customers instead of consumers that clearly don't want this (at the moment) isn't a death knell, it's likely the only way they're actually going to make money. Which is now the goal given that part of this story is moving out of Google X.

I don't understand why working out is a deal-breaker when it's a good indication that, god willing, someone has a chance of a long, healthy life ahead of them. This seems like the complete opposite way someone would want to narrow the dating pool.

The time you spend in line involves an opportunity cost, and self-checkout machines do help reduce that. You don't get a discount for checking yourself out because your benefit is *not waiting in line for very long*.
