If you had a product and were told that you have to put a big label on it claiming "CONTAINS RARE EARTH ELEMENTS" despite the fact that none of the rare earth elements in it were actually harmful...would you be annoyed?

It does a much better job at analyzing the material than the previous two. They still come off as very academic but that's part of the appeal for me.
I especially appreciated her example for a game that would be empowering without playing in to existing tropes and how it wasn't really all that complex or difficult to imagine (and yet it's so rare to see a game do this sort of thing).
As to cherry picking, this is one in a series of videos and the whole topic is games that utilizw the damsel in distress trope. Of course she's cherry picking. She provided many examples of games that try to do something different, many of which fail. As a gamer, I feel she was pretty encompassing in her examples.
