I'm in the same boat as others: I liked Pitch Black and hated Chronicles. This looks like a return to Pitch Black - almost as if they're ignoring the second movie. I'm willing to give it a chance.

I still have mine, but it's become the email address that I use for things that I don't actually want to read or get mail from. It's also the email address that I give to people who haven't earned the privilege of knowing my "real" email address.
One time I was at a bar and a woman started chatting me up and we talked for a while. She was nice, but I had no strong attraction or anything. Later, she asked to exchange email addresses and I told her my Hotmail account. Her expression dropped and she just looked at me and said, "Really? Hotmail?" Yeah... I never heard from her after that. That's kind of Hotmail's reputation in a nutshell.

Like others, Google Reader IS the internet for me. It's how I browse all of the sites and blogs and comics that I read. It's how I experience (parts of) craigslist, Twitter, Wikipedia, and other sites. Reader is a big part of what give my Google account value; it's the site I use throughout the day, every day. Other Google services seem less integral to me without that daily interaction.
