I, Anonymous.
Most of the time when I donate things I care most about getting rid of them and not really where they end up.

Protesters Disrupting Alaska Airlines Shareholder Meeting Right Now.
It does matter where annual meetings are held. The locations are picked strategically -- not to avoid protestors but to make sure the average shareholder doesn't show up. My dad represents shareholders in various Alaska native corporations and those corporations frequently have their meetings in Washington, not Alaska where all of their shareholders live. This pretty much ensures nobody shows up to hear any of the competition for spots on the board of directors.

How to Taxidermy a Rat.
The only thing I remember from my high school anatomy class are the animals and animal parts we dissected. The worst part about the rat was breaking its rib cage. I had to have someone else do that for me.

"Bus service shouldn't be optional—it should be a right.".
It seems like cutting bus service leads to a death spiral like with adverse selection in insurance. High and middle-income folks will take the bus if there are many, frequent, consistent routes so there's more ridership and more fares. But then you start cutting routes and those folks quickly switch to driving. Fewer riders leads to more cuts leads to even fewer riders leads to even more cuts and the ones who get fucked are the ones who can't possibly afford to drive.

The Friday Morning News.
The Fed can do only so much when it has to counteract shitty fiscal policy. Japan can do this because the central bank and government are so closely linked. That would be disastrous here.
