hmmm, suddenly less enthusiastic about the cash I shelled out for their upcoming Seattle show. Unless Kim Deal was talked into coming back since the Breeders anniversary tour seems to be winding down at year end. It would suck if this was the plan all along and Shattuck didn't realize she was a bridge performer, though.

oh lord YES all three of those are just common sense. Although I don't know what the drivers of that route are smoking - the routes I ride, the driver will get on the intercom and tell people to move back. Yes, all the way back. And won't move until people do (and it always takes a while, because there are always special snowflakes who think they don't have to move one inch.

ITA with 3 and the rest - I'm shocked that Dan didn't call out that this asshat waited until a year after marriage to let this very important sexual need slip?!? DTMFA. Twice.

@4 - Flowers in the Attic wasn't a young adult novel when it came out? Name one teenager in the '80s who hadn't read it
and @9 - My Sweet Audrina doesn't feature better writing, but it is a hell of a lot creepier (also it has really bad math that annoyed me to the point that I couldn't get too sad about the downer plot)

yeah, triple net is completely normal in commercial renting. Even to non-profits. It's not that the group is getting a "break" on rent - it's that the rental fee structure is set up to distinguish between rent of the space itself and the common costs associated with the space.
Agree with comments 1-3. The city is not amenable to small orgs at this point, and Stone Soup would do better to raise funds for a different, long term space solution rather than to pay this year's property taxes. Those are sure to go up dramatically again.
