@4: except the dems are far more likely to BE brown, black, female, union, etc. "they're all the same" is a tired dismissal. they are NOT the same, even if dems are compromised and spineless.
and there's plenty of blue-collar whites (only) the GOP could put on the stage if they wanted. they're not in the GOP for economic reasons, though. they're there because of fetuses, or teabagging, or guns, or anti-intellectualism, or racism, or some other social issue malarky. eastern washington is awash with them.

only because they still have cultural traditions of large families based on high childhood mortality rates (that have declined with modern sanitation and healthcare). mrs. solomon's great-grandmother in old blighty had 8 kids, 2 lived. my great grandmother in cincinnati had 9 kids, 7 lived. now idiot octomon has 8 premies and they all live.
