9:00 AM yesterday mkyorai commented on Conservative Gun Nuts Proudly Defend Rights of Man to Use Federal Land Without Paying.
@40. Awesome. With the arrival of @48, we now have all the right-wing slog trolls on one the boards at once. It's like the Solvay Physics Conference, except instead of Einstein and Schrodinger and Heisenberg and Curie and Planck, we have SB and Collectivism Sucks and SRoTU. The very best (conservative) minds of an entire generation are represented here on Slog.
Apr 14 mkyorai commented on The Nine Pieces That Made Jen Graves a Pulitzer Prize Finalist.
And, as much as I hate to mar a congratulatory thread by mentioning him, I gotta say, damn, Bailo, the new pic really captured the doofiness of your face extraordinarily well.
Apr 14 mkyorai commented on The Nine Pieces That Made Jen Graves a Pulitzer Prize Finalist.
Congratulations to Jen. I don't really "get" art per se, but I've learned a lot by reading her posts, and I'm thrilled that The Stranger now has two writers whose names are associated with the word "Pulitzer".
Apr 8 mkyorai commented on Obamacare Is Working.
Republicans right now appear to be preparing to run for midterms on a strict anti-Obamacare platform. That could be a mistake.

When has something being generally recognized as a mistake, crazy, untenable, or unrealistic ever stopped a republican from using as a basis for campaigning?
Apr 8 mkyorai commented on You Should Be Following @GOPTeens.
@9 It always bears repeating: JBITDMFOTP.
Apr 4 mkyorai commented on The Man Seattle Police Killed Yesterday: 26-Year-Old Chef Cody Spafford.
So, what the Christ happened? The kid just up and decided to rob a bank? I mean, I don't necessarily agree that the SPD should have shot him, but it seems like a really weird jump from 'sous-chef' to 'armed robber', professionally speaking.
Apr 4 mkyorai commented on Orange Theory Fitness Responds to Criticism That Its Ad Campaign Exploits Memorials to Dead Cyclists.
@13 pretty much nailed it. "We have been trying to partner with the white bike campaign in the past..." is probably the most revolting sentiment in the entire story. I can't imagine why the white bike campaign wouldn't want to be associated with the "Orange Theory Fitness gym". Tasteless.
Apr 4 mkyorai commented on A Virgin Girl Is Like a Piece of Chocolate....
@9 Preach, brother. Even bad chocolate is usually pretty good (unless it's, like, white chocolate, or that food-grade paraffin stuff, which I supposed could be the equivalent to dating a woman and then discovering she's a bugfuck crazy no sex until marriage nutter.)
Apr 4 mkyorai commented on Mayor Ed Murray Reaffirms City's Commitment to the Race and Social Justice Initiative.
So, this race and social justice order, does it do anything about the SPD's habit of beating down and/or shooting minorities with impunity? Because a reduction (just a small reduction at first! Baby steps! It will take time to wean the SPD off of their minority beating and shooting ways!) in the number of beaten or shot minorities could mean a significant improvement in justice and social order.
Apr 2 mkyorai commented on The State's Drone Future Is Now in Gov. Inslee's Hands.
In paragraph 2, I think you meant amicable, meaning 'without disagreement or rancor', not amiable, meaning 'displaying a pleasant manor; friendly; or happy-go-lucky'.
