After the Pulse: Ireland Paints Fake Shops on Empty Shops.
My home town, Lynn MA, did this exact same thing in the early 90s. Depressed downtown? Just cover up the empty storefronts with gorpy looking storefront paintings! And then proceed to never maintain them, until six years later they look just as shitty as the empty storefronts did in the first place.

Will the U.N. Ban Killer Robots?.
For the record, a drone is not a robot by this definition.
A quadcopter with a missle launcher that is operated via RC controller is a drone, not a "robot."
A quadcopter with a missile launcher and webcam and electronic compass and rPi boasting navigational, obstacle avoidance, facial recognition, weapon targeting and firing programs... would be a "robot". We don't have those.
Drones don't do this. Drones are remotely controlled by people like a video game.
Of course, that has it's own dehumanizing factor, but it's not the same as autonomous killing machines. For an example of that, watch T2.

How Local-Hire Proponents Want to Turn the Creed "Work Where You Live" Into Law.
Federal Way has repeatedly said that they cannot legally do this as they are required by state law to take the lowest bidder.
I don't know if Seattle is special and isn't subject to the same laws, but if so... well, that's bullshit, all cities should have the same abilities.
Of course I wouldn't put it past Federal Way being full of shit on this issue of law like they conveniently are on numerous others.

There Are No Atheists In Foxholes.
Are we not supposed to know that that's an obvious greenscreen shot with a photo of a destroyed house as the backdrop? Hell, the lighting alone is telltale.
This from the network that had a satellite interview within a single parking lot.

Aaahh Break Out!.
Don't stop to ask
And now you've found a break to make at last
You've got to find a way
Say what you want to say
Breakout
Yeah, you're welcome.

Which Fox TV Series Looks Worse?.
Video game company (a TV first) and Seth Green? Feh. No contest, that one gets too many extra awesome points.
