That's why it's an interesting exercise to read an album review from say Pitchfork versus an album review in Acoustic Guitar Magazine. The focus in composition, priduction, and song craft seem more emphasized in publications like the latter. That being said, I do enjoy the long form writing in The Pitchfork Review.
