Oh @1, you nailed it. RSD is also a way for people to get instant rarities so they can sell them on Ebay or Discogs . As much as there are often some nice things put out, I just do not want to deal with the "humanity". and no, I do not purchase these things online either...meh.

I can read it. Wait, no I can't...put down the bong please.
Apr 10 snacktruck commented on Senate Republicans Cut KEXP's New Home from Budget, Democrat Adds It Back in at Only Half the Money Needed.
@22 I am right there with you...I always wondered why KEXP is not very transparent about their fund drives - which by the way are easily the most irritating radio ever with the non-stop begging. Does John in the Morning really require 100k a year? Oh right, he's important to our community. Give your money to Vera people! Or KBCS where diversity seems to be very important and not just sensitive beard rock.
Apr 9 snacktruck commented on Scott McCaughey Tells the Sordid History of the Replacements-Young Fresh Fellows Alliance. Also: A Word About Reunion Haters.
The reason for me to not want to go to this reunion show is because it will just make me feel old. Well, I am so that's that but mostly I also do not want to go because hearing the sing-a-long songs make me feel worse than feeling old. But hey, I am happy for the kids...don't follow.

On a happier note, I really hope that Paul and Tommy are getting real paid. They deserve it and I can still recall that feeling of wanting them to be as popular as REM who were almost have as good as the Placemats (no 'M here too).
Apr 9 snacktruck commented on The Gospel According to Aspiring City Council Member John Roderick.
I just saw this blowhard Beardo in Ballard on his phone talking loudly while pacing in front of La Carta de Oaxaca a few days ago. It was as if he was campaigning to the street or something...and this interview really highlights how he's going to say a lot of nice things yet I am sure once he gets in (if he does that is...) he'll just turn into another Seattle democrat and nothing will get done.
Apr 6 snacktruck commented on West Seattle Neighborhood Crawl.
Dear Stranger, please get a food writer along with Ms. Garbes - this is dribble. I like Rachel Belle on the radio with those two baffoons but this article is like it was written by a 12 year old. And I echo @9, the original Bakery Nouveau is quite possibly the best pastry in all of Seattle.
Apr 1 snacktruck commented on The Making of Maneki's Black Cod Collar Miso.
Great article featuring HANDS DOWN the greatest person in Seattle, Jean-san! Maneki is a jewel and this black cod kama might be the best thing you can eat in our fair city for under $10...this is a dish I truly crave. And I satisfy that craving often.
Apr 1 snacktruck commented on 25 Things I Learned At Burgerama in Southern California.
that dude in a bikini is Don Bolles...drummer for Ariel Pink and he used to drum in bands way back when called 45 Grave, Vox Pop and the Germs. So you may be old but just not that aware.
Mar 23 snacktruck commented on The Former Singer of Tit Pig Bought NFL Hall of Famer Vince Lombardi’s Sweater at a Goodwill for 58 Cents and Sold It for $43,020.
Another fantastic interview of some jaded ex-Seattle musician. And worse as he puts me in the position of defending Nicklebacklemore.

And getting 43k just seems low for that highly collectible sweater.
